Jim has been involved in construction since college when he worked his way through school as a draftsman. After earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, he began his technical sales career. Jim came to the wood component industry in 1993 and has real-world experience with project management, engineering software, connector plate, EWP, and machinery application. Jim served as a director of SBCA's Texas chapter for nine years. Much of his free time is squandered in the gym weight training or refurbishing his home, but he also teaches personal finance through his local church. Jim resides in the friendly Texas suburb of Arlington.
